I am a third-year PhD student in the Romance linguistics program. I earned my MA degree in Portuguese and general linguistics from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina, in Brazil. After finishing my masters, I was a Fulbright fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, where I taught Portuguese as a foreign language and studied romance and anthropological linguistics. My interests include sociolinguistics, language change, morphosyntactic variation and quantitative methods in the Romance languages.
