I am a second year PhD student in the Romance languages linguistics program at the University of Georgia. I earned my MA degree in Portuguese and general linguistics from the Universidade Estadual de Londrina, in Brazil. After finishing my masters, I was a Fulbright FLTA at the University of Pennsylvania, where I taught Portuguese as a foreign language and studied romance linguistics and pedagogy. My interests include Sociolinguistics, language change in Brazilian Portuguese, languages in contact (particularly Spanish and Portuguese) and linguistics methods.
