Dr. Noel Fallows is the senior Professor of Spanish in the Department of Romance Languages, and Associate Dean of International and Multidisciplinary Programs in the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London. Dr. Fallows specializes in Spanish language, literature and culture of the Middle Ages and early Renaissance. In particular, he has research interests in chivalry and military theory in medieval and renaissance Spain, and he has published extensively in these areas of research. His book Jousting in Medieval and Renaissance Iberia (Woodbridge: Boydell, 2010) was awarded the 2012 La corónica International Book Award.
