Lecturer and Supervisor of Spanish Teaching Assistants

I am a Lecturer of Spanish and Supervisor of the Spanish Teaching Assistants.

My research focuses on 20th and 21st-century Latin American Literature. I am interested in the representations of queer figures written before, during, and after Latin American dictatorships and the ways in which they negotiate power, space, and identity in the post-dictatorship era.

I am a faculty advisor for España en Corto - a short film festival held annually in the Spring.

I have served as Coordinator for the Madrid/Barcelona Maymester Program during the Summer 2022 and 2023.

I am the faculty advisor for the Global Brigades - UGA Chapter
