Dr. Arribas' teaching and research interests include 20th-21st century Spanish narrative and cinema. She is especially interested in Hispanic contemporary cultural discourses from Spain and Latin America that reflect the situation of Latin American immigrants in Spain, with regards to the notions of nation, identity, migration and racism.
