MARGARET LUBBERS QUESADA Associate Professor of Spanish Dr. Margaret Lubbers Quesada has research interests in the acquisition of Spanish as a second language, specifically the acquisition of verbal morphology and syntax. She is co-editor of Perspectivas Cognoscitivas del Aspecto en Español (2005) and has published in Language, Culture and Mind, Spanish Applied Linguistics, Lingüística Mexicana, Estudios de Lingüística Aplicada, MEXTESOL Journal and in numerous conference proceedings. Her current research is focused on the relationship among lexical, morphological and syntactic elements in the acquisition process. Before coming to UGA in 2005, she was on the faculty at the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro in México for 15 years. |
