Office Hours and Tutoring

for uga students

Office Hours

French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish students are expected to consult with their class instructors by utilizing their office hours. Professors will spend time with you discussing class content, clarifying assignments, answering questions, and conversing about your academic interests.

Free Peer Tutoring

The Division of Academic Enhancement offers effective and free undergraduate tutoring services for French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish classes through Peer Learning and Teaching Others (PLaTO). All currently enrolled UGA undergrad students can meet with a Peer Tutor who has successfully completed the course being tutored and who will share their experience and study tips. Tutoring is free and available in the form of one-on-one appointments, study pods, and drop-in, both in-person at locations across campus and online via Zoom or GoBoard.
