I have been in the department since August of 2013. I started as the receptionist, then moved up to administrative staff. I am now the Assistant to the Graduate Coordinator and assist prospective and current Graduate Students and Graduate Teaching Assistants, starting with the application process all the way through defending their dissertations. I wear many other hats in the department, but my main role, and the one I am most passionate about, is helping our students succeed and helping our faculty in any way I can.
I have two children and one grandchild. I have a small local business making products with essential oils and I am also a painter whose art is owned by quite a few members of the department.
