Ivo has experience in Second Language Acquisition, Linguistics, and Literature. Born and raised in the Brazilian Amazon, he is interested in Indigenous Literature and Folklore and the representation of shamanism in Brazilian Literature. Ivo has also taught Portuguese as a  Fulbright FLTA at Yale university (2019 - 2020).

The aim of this workshop is to delve into the profound linguistic and cultural impact of indigenous peoples in Brazil. Furthermore, we will offer an immersive experience through an indigenous song circle, deeply rooted in the authenticity of our ancestral heritage.
