Teaching Assistant of Portuguese

M.A. in Linguistics and a B.A. in Languages and Literatures with a concentration in Portuguese, both from Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG). I have extensive experience in teaching through different levels (middle and high school; university; adult education) and ages (from 12 to 71). Right before starting this PhD Program, I was a awarded a Fulbright Fellowship as Teaching Assistant of Portuguese as a Foreign Language at University Notre Dame, IN, United States, through the FLTA/Fulbright Program (2021/2022). I have experience/training in teaching and/or researching following subjects/topics: Portuguese/English, Pragmatics, Metapragmatics, Linguistics, Language Ideologies, Afro-Brazilian Literatures, Digital Ethnography, Text Revision/Editing, Development of Social/Cultural Projects. My main research interests revolve around decolonial dialogues and re-articulations of identity, language and knowledge.

Amefrican Literatures, Afro-Brazilian Literatures, Digital Ethnography, Pragmatics, Metapragmatics, Linguistics, Linguistic Ideologies.
