Linguazine

Linguazine is an online magazine currently featuring students enrolled in SPAN 3020. Our vision is to grow beyond this course—expanding to include contributions from students at other levels and, eventually, across multiple languages. Stay tuned!

The very first edition, “La Primerísima,” was created in the Fall semester of 2024 for two sections of SPAN 3020, under the coordination of Dr. Brenda Ross. It includes essays and poems written by her students that semester and in the previous semester. This edition of the magazine is divided into five sections, representing five historical periods covered in class: Life before the discovery of America, the Discovery, the Colonies, Independence, and Modern life. Subsequent editions will expand in scope and will be mainly edited by students. We thus hope to give students of Spanish – and later on, of other languages – a venue to display their abilities.
