PhD Student, Hispanic Linguistics Teaching Assistant of Spanish I am currently a second-year Ph.D student in Hispanic Linguistics and an instructor for SPAN1001. I graduated in 2024 from UNC-Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Hispanic Linguistics, with a minor in Translation and Interpreting. With my background, I am fascinated by the intersection of technology and linguistics/language. My other current areas of research interest include: Phonetics and Phonology, Semantics, Sociolinguistic Variation relating to Technology and Media, and Computational Linguistics. Outside of my graduate studies, I enjoy practically any crafty or musical hobby; I often joke that my favorite hobby is picking up new ones. I love to sew, crochet, and play the piano. Of course, as a linguistics student, you can also find me learning and studying other languages for fun.
