Athens Tangueros presents Milonga Tropical - Tango intertwined with Latin Rhythm dancing for a memorable evening of dancing, including live dance performances

Fuad Elhage, Senior Lecturer of Spanish at UGA, has taught Diversity Through Dance, a course that blends Spanish language and culture with music and dance since 2010. In the past two semesters, a new class, SPAN 4030S has added a service-learning component. Through a partnership with the Athens Community Council on Aging (ACCA), students not only learn dances like salsa, bachata, and merengue but also teach them to older adults, including members of the Dementia Resource Center.
