Lívia Duarte was born and raised in Espírito Santo, Brazil. She has a B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Espírito Santo (UFES), in Brazil. Currently a Romance Languages M.A. student at the University of Georgia. Her main research interests include fantastic literature, the construction of Brazilian national identities, and children's literature.
Ivo has experience in Second Language Acquisition, Linguistics, and Literature. Born and raised in the Brazilian Amazon, he is interested in Indigenous Literature and Folklore and the representation of shamanism in Brazilian Literature. Ivo has also taught Portuguese as a  Fulbright FLTA at Yale university (2019 - 2020).
Elisa Braga has a B.A. and a Teaching Licensure in English from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), in Brazil.
